Gord has served as a member of all of council's three standing committees – Planning, Community and Protective Services, and ETC. He has earned a reputation as the 'voice of reason' on Council – someone who researches issues thoroughly, consults widely and has the courage to make firm decisions on often difficult issues, and stick to his decision.
